Extreme Bunny House Makeover

If you are interested in seeing the best bunny house that money can buy, this is a heart-warming story from Best Friends Animal Society in Utah. It talks about the fund raising they did, & there is a video of their new bunny house. I love the indoor-outdoor runs, and little green rugs that look like grass for lounging.

The whole page story is here.
If you want to go straight to the video it's here.

Inspiration!

Oh Layla, this is outstanding! What a wonderful facility that is! I really like the high security they provided the bunnies. They thought of all the predators who want to get those babies. It is so very encouraging to see how the bunnies are being given the regard and love that they so richly deserve. This is a great story for me to see after the very unpleasant encounter we had with a woman at an annual fundraising crafts festivals yesterday. Her story of her bunnies and her callousness was shocking. Hopefully, over time we will rarely, if ever enounter such people. We must keep up the education efforts. Best Friends is doing an excellent job of that!

I'm so glad you guys enjoyed it. The big sandbox was an interesting addition too--something i'd never thought of for buns.

Oh my bunnies LOVE a sandbox. We have one of those little baby pools in the garage and I put sand in it. They love it and when it gets icky, I put the sand in the garden.

We also had a sand box when we had a rabbit when I was little (a long time ago!). Our rabbit lived indoors, not in a hutch but just as if he was a cat. He went out into the garden to play. Happy memories!
