Lettuce Recall
Hello fellow bunny lovers. I'm not sure how widely known this is right now but there has been a recall of romaine lettuce, some of which came out of Vaughn Foods in Moore. So far it sounds like a narrow recall but just to be cautious, I think I will go with red leaf or other lettuce for now. Details are available in this CNN article. Oh,thank you Lindsay! This was the first I've heard of OK being included in the recall. *sigh*
Thanks Lindsey. There is never enough info on this kind of stuff. There are only about 10 ways to get romaine at the store and I thru out everything this morning and started over trying to avoid any mixes with romaine for now. I heard about the ok recall on the radio just a bit ago.
I'm not sure how much of the lettuce stayed in OK but since that's apparently where it originated I thought you all might want to know.
Thank you I had'nt heard about this. I just bought some from Wally world but had'nt used it yet. I will have to look more into it.
