LEAVE ME ALONE!

Hey Everybody!

My name is Stewart and I used to live at Heartland Rabbit Rescue. I was treated very well there. One day a lady named Christina came along and started helping out at Heartland. She fell for me, as she should have because I am a fabulous bunny. I went to live at her house on Sunday. Now, she wont leave me alone. Keeps checking on me every 10 minutes, calling me "Stewpot" and "Little bear". What is that about anyway?

This morning she brought me a plate of shredded veggies ( I am a bunny with malocclusion so my yummies have to be shredded) and I slapped the plate right out of her hands. Ha Ha Ha. I just wanted to eat.

I like my new house and I have lots of room. The carpet is kinda weird so I keep scratching at it. My new mom laid down a blanket for me and I am using my litter box like a very good boy. Mom says I am going to meet another bunny one day. His name is Nemo and she told me she really wants me to like him. Hmmrph. We will see about that.

Sounds like you've found yourself a terrific new home with a lady to care for you who really likes you! What a great example you will make for the other bunnies who need rescuing!

Stewart, "Little Bear" and "Stewpot" are nicknames. Your momma will probably come up with some more. Mommas do that. And mommas check on their kids often. You'll get used to that. It means that she loves you and just wants you to be happy.

Christina,
Thanks for posting that. It's amazing how fast the bunnies get spoiled once they come home. Mine stomp their feet & pout if they don't get to go outside EVERY day.

Hey Stewart! You may not remember me too well but I was the lady who promised to bring your bowl back with good stuff in it every time I stole it from you to shred your goodies. I miss you and "everybunny" at Heartland but I'm glad you've found a wonderful forever home!

Little Stewart, how about showing some gratitude to your new momma? You are such a lucky bun!!! I'm sure you'll get used to the checking and smooching and kisses on the nose ... and wouldn't want to miss it for the world.

Be nice to Nemo -he's a really sweet little bun.
