New Bunny Pen
We finally got around to building a bigger, better bunny pen for our weekend runs.
I'm sure this was supposed to be used to keep bunnies out...but of course, that's the last thing we want!
Gandalf: (garbled by chewing) "Oh, hi there!" *munch, munch, munch* "This grass is quite yummy."
Sable: "Can I have some privacy please?! Shadow, can you pull that blanket over here so I can change into my bikini and lay out in private?"
Shadow: "I'm pretty sure your tan is dark enough as it is...."
Lindsay: "Just one more picture and I'll let you play, I promise."
Gandalf, Sable, and Shadow: "Oh, all right...."

Lindsay, your buns are adorable! Ha ha ha.
We use a 50-foot length of tomato wire for our outdoor bun play area--about $8 at Home Depot. That with a fencing stakes or pieces of rebar make it easy to move around the yard.
Also, the large moving boxes at Home Depot for $3 are a favorite of our buns. They fold in half lengthwise, & make a neat bunny tunnel when it is not too windy out. Our guys will run back & forth through them over & over again.
Thanks for sharing your pics!
Hello there you sillies! It looks like you are having fun.
Lindsay, you do like I do - I'm always looking for a new or better way to use something for the bunnies. That was a good idea to use that wire. You are right, no matter what the wire was made for it works well for what you need it for - keeping your bunnies safe.Your kids look like they are thriving in the high altitude.
Looks tall enough! Some of our bunns are what we call "4-footers" which means they need at least a 4 foot fence to keep them in!
We also have many hawks and eagles here. We aren't able to let bunns out in the yard in a pen without constant attention or else a cover over it. So they live on the deck with plenty of hidey holes and distractors for the birds.
Looks like such an adventure.
Awwww, they are so cute!!!! What a beautiful trio! Ah, and Shadow, you're not outside for the tan, girl! ;-)
