A Wuschel in the Wind or Bad Hare Day

Arrrrghhh, how our Wuschel hates the wind (note the puckered nose!) --- he spends long hours grooming each individual gorgeous hair in place, and then one of these humans grabs him and puts him out in the yard .... humiliating!

We have a winner!!

And here is our mystery bunny revealed:

ARLO

Like all the bunnies at Heartland, our gentle giant Arlo loves to play with the baskets and enjoys utilizing them for nibbling, tossing, or playing hide and seek.

The first right answer came from Ms. Sarah Stevens of Oklahoma City, herself a proud parent of a very special bunny girl. Congratulations to Sarah; enjoy your Starbucks card!

Thank you everybody for your entries. We are thinking about continuing these contests so you all may have another chance to win at Heartland.

T and the Ugly Green Shawl

I crocheted this hideously ugly green shawl a couple weeks ago, which has now been donated to my nieces' dress up wardrobe. T didn't seem to mind the ugliness. When I put it on the floor, he pounced right on it and started grooming. He loves it, so sweet.

Saturday nights with Alice and Patch

Tonight we decided to carve a pumpkin and see how the bunnies would respond. Here are some fun pics.

This is our Halloween e-card. Feel free to send it around.

Alice cautiously approaches the strange new housemate.

Patch watches from the sidelines. "I'm not getting back in that thing."

"Well, maybe I'll check it out one more time."

The many shapes of Patch (Dickens)

Patch loves to get all the attention. He especially loves to get petted after performing little tricks like passing me pieces of paper.

This is his favorite sleeping position- wedged between his cardboard house and the gate. He looks just like a sleepy bunny dog. He's probably tired from navigating a catacomb of boxes and blankets I set up for him.
