Strange Creature

There is a very weird creature hanging around lately. We have never seen anything like it. It makes the strangest noises and tries to rub its face on us through the window. Not too sure I care for it. Dudley doesnt like it one bit. He charged the creature yesterday and he was showing teeth and everything. Very unusual behavior for him. Can you help us identify this thing? Can you make it go away? Mom says we have to find a good home for him but I think he should just leave. Hrmmph! I think he may be one of those Aliens from outer space.

I'm exhausted!

We three bunnies got to play in the living room lots yesterday! Mom and Dad won't let us up there unless they are with us. We're told we are mischief makers but honestly, we're just doing what bunnies do!
We made it behind the love seat (which mom has tried to barricade), behind the couch (which mom has tried to barricade), and then we resorted to hopping on the furniture instead of behind it. And of course, we ran up and down the stairs!
But by late evening we were all quite tired. And then mom started taking pictures! Can't a bunny get any rest around here?
Pictures narrated by mom:
First, Shadow was too tired to wonder what Sable and Gandalf were up to.

Next, it was Gandalf who decided he had had enough.

Sable played until she quite elegantly flopped over and took a little nap.

Everyone has settled down, maybe now I can get some rest myself!

No Problem

When space is available in the house we can bunnysit for our friends. We are taking care of Boomer (pictured here) and his ladylove, Haley, while Ron and Julia are on vacation. Bunny parents are always concerned about the disruption to the bunnies'lives when they are moved from their home. And rightly so. Some bunnies do not react well to a stay somewhere other than home. However, Boomer has settled in nicely.

Bunny Ornaments

Our friends at the Bunny Store (www.thebunnystore.com) are starting their Third Annual Holiday Fundraiser! The last two fundraisers were great successes, and we are all hoping to be even more successful this year, because the folks at the Bunny Store are working with a new artist who is extremely talented and has expanded their ornament selection to include rabbits, dogs, cats, rats, birds, guinea pigs, horses and fish.

Check out (literally, hehe ..) these beautiful ornaments here:

Rabbits - www.thebunnystore.com/bunnyornaments.htm
Dogs - www.thebunnystore.com/dogornaments.htm
Cats - www.thebunnystore.com/catornaments.htm
Rats - www.thebunnystore.com/ratornaments.htm
Guinea Pigs - www.thebunnystore.com/gpglassornaments.htm
Horses - www.thebunnystore.com/Horses.htm
Fish - www.thebunnystore.com/aquatic.htm

The Bunny Store will donate 10% per ornament sold to the rescue/shelter of your choice when you make a purchase. In order to nominate a rescue of your choice (uhm, Heartland, of course!!!! :-) ), all you need to do is fill in the name of the rescue/shelter in the "Annual Holiday Fundraiser" text box when you check out.

Please pass on the word, guys!!!

Thanks so much!! Let's go shopping, Christmas is right around the corner ...
