Stupid Holidays
So, mama told us we'd have to take a trip for the holidays, but she didn't say anything about it being an extra long trip! I hate riding in the car with all the loud noises. I was really mad.
T was mad, too.
We had to stay in that stupid pen for 2 whole weeks, no matter how much we asked to get out!
I was so mad that I didn't talk to mama for days. I would run and hide in my house when ever she came in the room.
And then she had the nerve to tell me to stop stomping around so much because they could hear me downstairs! A bunny never relinquishes his duty to alert everyone of all the scary noises in case there might be danger lurking around the corner. At least she still remembered to give us our raisins before we went to sleep. (T always hogs the front spot during raisin time.)
Santa did find us, though, and left us a present. (But, we were still mad...)

Eventually, I tried to sneak out and take a peek at what he brought us, but mama caught me! It's really hard to be a super sneaky ninja bun when you're stuck in a stupid playpen...
We finally got to go home, but I didn't talk to mama for days afterward, just so she knew how mad I was. I am glad to be home, though. I didn't like that house with all the scary noises and nothing to do. Stupid holidays.

Holiday Card Bloopers 2007
As always, T & Dude look forward to holiday photo time (can you hear the sarcasm?) After about 150 shots, we managed to get a few good ones to choose from, at the expense of everyone's patience. At first they were all over the place, and then they resumed their usual routine of T turning his back to the camera to groom himself and Dude sitting like a lump and glaring at the annoying flashy thing. Here are some Holiday Photo Shoot bloopers for you to enjoy...

And the final stage of the Holiday Photo Card shoot...total annoyance and humiliation.

Munchin'
I never get tired of watching by boys munchin' out...too cute! They're like little woodchippers...
Dude tried his first strawberry and was very undecided about the whole thing. (T wanted nothing to do with it.) However, when I went back into the bedroom about 30 minutes later, the strawberry had mysteriously disappeared.

Mmmm...Breakfast
The boys are just so cute when they eat their breakfast all smooshy-faced. They finished off a plate of veggies and were still hip-hopping around so I gave them a little oatmeal for desert.

They're so bright and shiny that my camera doesn't quite know how to adjust, so it's hard to get a good inside picture. After I took a few they were getting a little annoyed at the flashy thing and came over to investigate and make it stop. Now I have bunny nose prints on my lens.

All Packed and Nowhere to Go
So, a scary thing happened on Friday...a few minutes after I walked in the door of my apartment after getting home from work, tornado sirens began sounding in Norman. That's right, in Norman! Now, at first I didn't hear them, which of course, is great and especially helpful if a tornado was heading my way. Jeannie called my cell phone and left a message telling me that the sirens were supposed to be going off. I opened the sliding glass door to my balcony and strained to hear over the rain and traffic, and guess what, the sirens were actually sounding faintly in the distance.
So, now I'm starting to feel a little panic. I turned the T.V. on to listen to the report while I had to convince my boys to listen to me for the first time in their lives. T came right out when I bribed him with raisins. So, I sccoped him up and put him on the bed. Dude was not about to come out from under the bed. So I poked and prodded him until he was mad enough to thump and run out from under the bed and hide under the bedside table, where I was able to scoop him up, too. This scrambling for bunnies took place in probably under a minute. I put two t-shirts in the bottom of two luggage bags and put T in bag and Dude in the other. Here they are in their tornado traveling gear:

Once, they were in the bags, they were very well behaved. I opted for the luggage over their carriers, figuring that if I had to go anywhere quick, no one had to know I had bunnies in those bags. Of course, I have no idea where we would go. I live in a third floor apartment and there are no underground areas anywhere. We were all packed up with nowhere to go.
I made them sit in those bags for about half an hour, when the tornado warning expired. T didn't hold it against me, but Dude was a little miffed for the rest of the night. I think we'll have to practice our tornado drills from now on. Maybe one day I can say "Tornado!" and my boys will hop right into the bags.:) I wouldn't place any bets on that one, though.

Puddle Bun
This is a puddle bun, aka pancake bunny. When I start petting on Mr. Doodles, he just puddles out, flat as a pancake, belly on the floor. It's hard to tell from the picture, but he is really flat...like a pancake. ;)

Quick Rorschach test...what's the fist thing you see in Doodle's splotches? (I've always seen Kung Fu fighters, but I don't think the camera angle is quite right to point them out to you.)

Dude's Coming Home

T was all excited to see another bunny in the house, but Dude was not to keen about coming out of his box too soon. You could almost see the thoughts floating around in T's head with every flick of his ears..."Hi, I'm T, who are you?" "I remember you! Come out and play!" "What are you doing in there?" "Why won't you come out and play, huh?"

"Well, if you won't come out, then I'll come in with you!" T proceeded to jump in and out of the box over the next hour, very confused why Dude would not come out of the box. Dude just sat there, not sure what to make of T and his persistance.

T just hung around with Dude in the box, just in case he decided to come out. He was very confused why this new bunny just wouldn't come out to play with him, when it would be oh so much fun.

Dude finally decided to come out and explore after about an hour and a half. I closed the door to the carrier once he came out and he loosened up after he realized that it wasn't as bad as he had imagined. They had fun running around the living room and following each other around. T even managed a high jump in the air in all the excitement. Quite a feat for him! They've turned out to be good friends.
